Mr. Wingert is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of Santek’s physical infrastructure. This role encompasses a range of duties including managing building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), coordinating maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and handling vendor relationships. Mr. Wingert's role involves overseeing all aspects of general property maintenance. This includes scheduling routine and periodic inspections to ensure that each property remains functional, aesthetically pleasing, and accessible. His responsibilities ensure that properties are well-maintained, meet safety and accessibility standards, and are kept in optimal condition for use.
Santek’s commitment to detail and pride of ownership is communicated through a rigorous schedule of preventive maintenance and upkeep executed by Mr. Wingert and his team of professionals. Mr. Wingert directly supervises all field staff, including both full-time, on-site maintenance personnel and specialized renovation teams. He is responsible for managing and coordinating with external vendors to ensure that all work meets stringent quality standards. His role involves overseeing the performance of both in-house and contracted teams to maintain high standards of property maintenance and renovation.
The Facilities Manager also works on space planning, budgeting, and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency. He collaborates with management to develop annual budgets and identify essential capital improvements. His goal is to enhance property value and improve the tenant or customer experience. By aligning financial planning with strategic property upgrades, he ensures that investments contribute to overall operational efficiency and satisfaction. The goal is to create a safe, functional, and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and other stakeholders while ensuring that the facilities run smoothly and cost-effectively.
